Nationals Saturday
The Good: Zack and Mitch placed second in the intermediate lightweight pair. They raced only 40′ after the senior four and we were concerned that the short rest time would affect their performance. Fortunately, they managed and raced well.
The Bad: We re-rigged our four at the last minute to a starboard stroke and it actually […]

Nationals Friday
Chuck and Chase won their heat and semi and looked great going into the final of the intermediate 2-.

Youth Nationals I
Youth Nationals was great. This was the first time I’ve attended and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was some excellent, close racing on Sunday, and some great rowing. It’s good to see the crews that are winning are also the ones who row the best.
I also want to throw a plug out there for Cincinnati. […]

Headed to Youth Nationals
I’m flying out today for Cincinnati, to attend USRA Youth Nationals. I’m doing race coverage for Rowing News and I’ll post a ton of content besides that. Also attending a Reds game tonight. Should be fun!
You can find Friday race results here.
Also, while my buddy Rob and I were running yesterday afternoon, we saw Space […]
