U of L rowing, Henley, etc
Crap! I haven’t written in over two weeks. Here’s why:
1. I started a new coaching gig at the University of Louisville, aka U of L, aka The Ville. Here’s the crew team page, although my bio isn’t up as I just filled out the sports info form today. Ho hum. So what’s U of L like? It rocks! The people I work with are great, the rowers are terrific, and the city is awesome (reminds me of a really big Gainesville, or maybe a small Jacksonville with Buckhead-type area and a DI college). I’ll write a extensive review of Louisville in a later post…
2. I moved directly from Marietta, OH, to Louisville KY. I found a place to live via craigslist and signed a lease within 48 hours of arriving. What stinks is I didn’t get a chance to go back home (Florida) and grab my stuff and say goodbye to my peeps. Yuck. I miss everyone.
3. No internet! It took us a week to get internet hooked up at the apartment.
4. I’ve been busy as hell. Started work immediately after arriving. I even went to Canley over the weekend for a recruiting trip.

Congratulations Ben. Louisville is a sleeping giant. Ruggieri did a solid job building anew, and you and Laura now have an opportunity to help the program take off. Enjoy the adventure.
p.s. The louisville press release says you majored in electronic intermedia at uf…what IS that?
