Cool Tony Robbins Video
Anyone read, listen to, or watch Tony Robbins? I just discovered him and started his reading his book, Awaken the Giant Within. So far, so good. After I burn through all 544 pages I’ll do a book review. Robbins, considered the father of the life coaching industry, seems to offer a great system for personal development and goal setting, tools that any coach or rower could use.
In the meantime, I found this awesome video of Tony giving a 20′ speech on setting goals and explaining why we do what we do. This speech was part of the annual TED (technology, entertainment, design) Conference in 2006. You can read more about TED here.
The video totally got me pumped up. If you’re a coach you will enjoy this because it’s a great example of motivational speaking, and anyone else can get something from it because of his ideas on personal development.
